Even Rose Love Design
Even Rose Love Design offers a collection of hand built and hand painted botanical studies in Copper, Brass, Bronze and Sterling. Jewelry that is tiny sculpture for discerning lovers of the natural world.
Roselyn Sanders Mendez has been working in metal for over twenty years. They were not trained as a jeweler at first, but rather they learned to fabricate in metal while working as a mount maker in museums. It was a few years later that they began to utilize these skills as a working artist. Their garden and the various lifeforms that live in it feed their creative impulses every day.
After sketching things that inspired them in their garden or on hikes, they use traditional metalsmithing methods and their own quirky design sense, take to the shears, anvil, and hammer. Then comes the torch and files.
Their work is an homage to nature. Come let yourself listen to nature’s stories and feel inspired!

From the artist:
"Now that we’ve introduced you to Gadgetometers-the business, we want to share how we got started. It all began with the Professor’s ingenious inventions that can measure anything you can imagine. Over time, these creative masterpieces were labeled as Gadgetometers, pronounced (Gadget-ah-meters). These first and original products are how we got our name. Since that humble beginning, we have developed Professor S.T. Punk’s Emporium, our traveling booth-trading as Gadgetometers. The Emporium is how we take our products to public events such as craft fairs, garden parties, conventions, and other gatherings."

Greenwood Creations
Greenwood Creations is delighted to present fine pyrography, in themes mythical, magical, and macabre.
Their process shows great dedication to preserve the essence of their craft! Each piece is first hand-drawn with pencil (brain to hand to wood). Reference photos may be used, but all designs are my own original artwork. Then guidelines are hand-burned using a pyrography pen, and all pencil marks are erased and sanded clean. The piece is finished entirely with pyrography (hand-burned using a hot pen, similar to a soldering iron). No computers are used to generate images. No lasers are used to create designs. No routers are utilized to create depth. Very occasionally, they will add bright accent tints of purple, blue, green, or red with acrylic paint; however, all non-chromatic shades are accomplished with burning, and not paints or stains.

A note from the artist about their small scale shrines:
“Discovering Greek mythology as a child, I longed to live in that era of goddesses and nature deities. Delving deeper into mythology, I uncovered inspiration in the Celtic myth cycles of my heritage, the Hindu pantheon, and the mythic tales of other cultures. I am drawn to the many intriguing commonalities among the belief systems of world cultures as they manifest in myths, tales, and rituals. Mythology is a symbolic language of icons and archetypes that resonate with the psyche. These archetypes and symbols can be read on many levels – both within the specific boundaries of a culture and, on a deeper level, as metaphor.
My shrines are built on a small scale to engage the viewer in an intimate experience. Familiar elements are afforded new status when enshrined, elevated to an item of reverence. Through their details, interior levels and enclosures, the shrines encourage continued interaction and discovery. Natural elements recall a time when myth, not science, explained the mystery of the world, a time when Nature was actively respected and revered as the primary life force. Juxtaposing objects within an architectural shrine, may reflect their intertwined symbolic meanings or evoke a sense of wonder, a sense of mystery.”

Mythical Designs: Masks and Miscellanea
Leah and Shane Odom (Sunthistle & Brambleberry Wildwose in the Fae Realms) are the artists and mask makers of Mythical Designs: Masks & Miscellanea. They create sculpted leather masks and costume accessories, mythical inspired decor, and a host of other fae crafts. Together, they have been creating mythic art and legends for decades. They venture out from their mountain home in Western Maryland to entertain faeries and mortals alike, then return to their gardens to find inspiration in the growing world. They believe that fashioning art is about bringing legends and myths into form and life. Each faery tale we tell our children is a cultural inheritance going back to our ancestors. By finding meaning and inspiration in modern myth, you can connect with the intimate relationship our forebearers had with the natural world around them and still face forward into the 21st century. Creating and wearing masks allows us to participate in the process of transformation that ties us to our environment and allows us to truly celebrate who we are. Leah and Shane are entirely entangled in the Faerie and Mythic Arts community. Shane is a tradition bearer of the Mythic Arts, a co-creator with the New York Faerie Festival, and the Abbot of the Beneficent Order of the Greenman (B.O.G). They are also slightly mortified to be the mortal home for Puck and the official purveyor of Puck Rock Merch.

Odds and Swevens
Ceramics and Paintings by J. Retterer
will be available for purchase at the show! The booth
will wear the name “Odds and Swevens” and be on
display!
A note from the artist: “Sweven is an archaic Old
English word for "dream or vision" and considering
most of my work has an eyeball as the central trait, it
seemed to fit. More than that, though, I feel like my art
is a way for me to express my own dreams and
visions.
As an artist I've always been a bit quirky. When people
ask me, "Why eyeballs?" I typically just respond that it
was something that popped into my head.
Making art is my joy and my calm space but also where
I can express my more whimsical side. I hope you
enjoy my work and that it can bring you some of what it
brings to me :-)”

Andrew Linke
Author Bio:
“I've always been the kind of person who has to make something. Whether it's coding an adventure game in QBASIC, writing a novel, or creating original role playing settings and adventures.
I have been an amateur photographer for most of my life, beginning when my parents first started to let me use their Olympus SLR camera. Over the years I have continued to pursue the hobby until it became something of a contributing factor to my career as an online educator.
Like many an English Major, I dreamed of writing a book for many years, but my teenaged self could never hold a story together for more than a dozen pages or so and I entered my twenties with only a Documents folder littered with incomplete manuscripts and half-baked ideas.
In 2010 I traveled to Paris and managed to keep a detailed journal of most of the highlights. That year was also the first of my failed attempts to complete NaNoWriMoand the start of my time playing D&D on a regular basis. These imaginative efforts would fuse with good old fashioned angst to drive me to write my first novel over the winter and spring of 2011-12, thus launching a decade long dream of escaping my job in public education by writing fiction.
Like most dreams, that plan didn't exactly survive contact with reality, but I still managed to write eight full novels and a lot of short stories and outlines before turning my focus to other creative projects.

The Art of Nicole Pisaniello
Nicole Pisaniello is a fantasy artist whose work blends the beautiful with the grotesque, drawing on elements of fairy tales and folk horror for inspiration. She enjoys toiling for hours with pen and ink and watercolor to explore delicate textures within each piece, and it is her belief that much of her artistic insanity comes from being exposed to the works of Brian Froud, David Bowie, and Tim Curry at too young an age. Nicole has been published in 'Infected by Art' volumes 8 and 10, shown her work in galleries and in two solo shows at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum. Currently she is working with the "Joy of Faeries" team to illustrate two of their character books.
In her spare time, Nicole teaches and performs aerial circus with Host of Sparrows. She sometimes works as a professional Faerie or Goblin. And in 2013 she co-founded RVA Krampusnacht, which she still continues to help organize. She and her partner Travis share a home in Richmond, Virginia with their four brilliant cat-children, Pyramus, Thisbe, Ludo, and Half-Stache.

Timothy Lantz / Stygian Darkness
Timothy Lantz is a full-time illustrator and graphic artist with degrees in art education and communications.
Lantz’s work, often described as “beautiful melancholy,” has been inspired by a lifetime of reading. From the best of fantasy fiction and sci-fi to 1930s crime fiction and comic books, Lantz’s bold and edgy artistry is all about “story.” His themes of mystery, romanticism, tragedy and aspiration convey this, as though his life’s quest is to create illustrations for relevant yet aching stories that have not yet been written.
Underpinning Lantz’s powerful aesthetic is long experience. His exacting technical abilities, which go far beyond the traditional skill set, combine with core strengths in color and composition to create art that reflects—and refracts—the essence of beauty.
During his career, Lantz’s work has included such far-flung projects as weather maps, television commercials, book covers and tarot cards. He is the author and artist of The Archeon Tarot, available from U.S. Games Systems Inc., and has worked for a variety of publishers including: DC Comics, ACE/Penguin Books, Bantam, Juno Books, EDGE Books, AEG, Wildside Press and more.

Small Thicket
Alyssa R. Spencer is an illustrator, writer, and maker of small things.
She grew up tumbling down grassy hillsides, filling her pockets with acorns, reading piles and piles of books, and making lots of little things from objects otherwise intended for the bins. Truly, not much has changed.
Her work focuses on cozy nature and folklore with themes of fantasy, friendship, and exploration. World-building and storytelling are her favorite self indulgences.
She’s had custom art toys featured in shows at Mothership Toy Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and Woot Bear Gallery in San Francisco, CA.
