We Are - MYTHICON

Mythicon: Mid-Winter Gathering of the FAE was born organically within our long-standing fantasy arts community.

Our roots trace back to the Mythic Ball, first presented at Eyeclopes in 2013. In 2020, during our annual Frost Faerie Ball, the concept of Mythicon emerged as a natural evolution of that gathering. In February 2021, we expanded the celebration to include the first Mythic Market, growing beyond fire performance and immersive characters into a larger stage presentation and curated vendor experience.

As communities cautiously re-gathered in 2022, we formally developed Mythicon: Mid-Winter Gathering of the FAE in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Since that time, we have continued producing annual events dedicated to celebrating Fantasy Arts & Entertainment, folklore, and personal mythic discovery. We are now entering our 6th continuous year of independent community production.

We wish to clearly state that Mythicon: Mid-Winter Gathering of the FAE is an independent event and organization.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Rhett & Link, Mythical Entertainment, or any event produced by them under a similar name, including their past event titled “Mythicon” held in Texas, held only once.

We do not represent, claim association with, or seek any professional recognition, identity, or goodwill connected to those artists or their company. Our event arose independently from our own long-standing creative community and continues to operate as a separate and distinct entity.
